Fine tuning: Behind the scenes tweaks under the hood, so far, all is working, and hopefully will continue working. Security updates, more cool stuff. (But where is the content, oh, birthday girl?)
The short version: I came out to my younger sister a few months back, and she is accepting and supportive. My two closest friends here in Phoenix pretty much called it. ^_^;
(She gave me one of her Coach purses, and I have a Sephora gift card waiting for me. *beamles*)
Mainly to show Mr. John Kavanagh (one of our Arizona representatives, and head of the State House Appropriations Committee, who brought us SB1045), and others that you have not broken my spirit.
There are several others in line ahead of them I have to deal with. The reason to be, to exist, is more important. I will not go back into a closet for anyone. Not family, not those who also fear (different kinds of fear?) and definitely not the state (if they harbor or are persuaded by the same fear.)
More or less stuff, trans or not, that I’ve done over the last 25+ years, that I’d more or less do again, regardless.
SunValley Mall in Concord, California – Kind of a special place in my life… I’ve been there at least half a dozen times over the past 20 years, stemming from a visit there in the late 1980s or early 1990s, when there was still an arcade there (I remember playing Taito’s arcade game adaptation of Rambo III), and the Atari Lynx handheld game system was introduced to the masses. Quite a bit has been written about it (And not just about the air crash tragedy that happened just before Christmas 1985) – check out the write-up and vintage postcards posted up by BigMallrat.
Did I mention I like being pampered? Massages (even those chairs with the “magic fingers” – put in me one for more than 30 minutes, and I will meow like the kitty that I am. =^_^= ), manicures, a trip to the hair salon (Hi, Mario – Thanks for taking care of me today! ^_^; ), and I’m sure there’s more.
I’m eager to have a makeover, probably at MAC or Sephora, or somewhere…
