…And a “C” and a “K”, and of course, a “Y”
“What’s that spell?” (“ROCKY!”)
“I can’t hear you!” (“ROCKY!!”)
“One more time!!” (“ROCKY!!!”) (and some funster in the audience yelling out “ADRIAN!!!” – Probably me, or another manifestation of me.)
(Note: This post was updated on October 12, 2016. Broadway Bound and Gagged has had its final curtain call, and a new cast has risen like a Phoenix – pardon the pun – from the ashes. The Floor Show Of Phoenix is the new Rocky Horror cast, continuing a decades long tradition of Absolute Pleasure in the Grand Canyon State.)
Rocky, being not the meat packing plant employee/collection enforcer who fought his way from the streets to being one of the greatest fictional boxers the world has know, but a somewhat taller, slimmer, not too bright guy who happened to be brought to life by a crazed extraterrestrial scientist… I’m talking about “The ONE! The ONLY! The ORIGINAL—” Richard O’Brien’s greatest gift to cult film fans the world over… The Rocky Horror Picture Show!

Has it really been over a year since I last made a post here. Indeed, it has… A year, and four days, to be exact.
There’s been some minor changes around here. (Disabling some behind-the-scenes stuff to harden the security of this site, and nail shut any potential vulnerabilities, and purging anything that looks out of place. I wasn’t born yesterday when it comes to web site administration duties.
The major change is… almost one year ago, I lost someone very important to me — My mother.

Closing out the first month (June 2010), and moving forward…
July 13, 2010:
Watched another one of Michelle Phan’s latest makeup videos – It’s amazing how effortless, yet effective, she makes it look. (sigh…)
(Oh, yeah – I still follow Michelle Phan – there’s a lot of useful information from her videos. Now, if only I had the budget for makeup, and the skills to get my face together in less than 30 minutes. 😛 )

Continuing the Facebook Flashback… Not much for the first month or so… Take my word for it.
June 4, 2010:
Now that I have a Facebook and and an LJ to go with my Flickr, do I further corrupt myself and start up a Twitter account?
(Actually, I did… Facebook, Flickr, a rather neglected LiveJournal, Google+, Twitter, and Tumblr… I need a real life…)

I opened my Facebook account on June 3, 2010. I’m going to be posting semi-regularly scheduled post updates to fill in the gaps between now and then, since Facebook is my main home, and I’ve been neglecting my home here.
The First Note – “So, Why Am I Doing This?”

Fine tuning: Behind the scenes tweaks under the hood, so far, all is working, and hopefully will continue working. Security updates, more cool stuff. (But where is the content, oh, birthday girl?)
The short version: I came out to my younger sister a few months back, and she is accepting and supportive. My two closest friends here in Phoenix pretty much called it. ^_^;
(She gave me one of her Coach purses, and I have a Sephora gift card waiting for me. *beamles*)
Tuning out: Another blog on the sidebar is gone: Jessica-Who.com winked out a few months back. I won’t ask questions, or wonder, but I remember she posted something a while back about when transgender and crossdresser blogs close down, and various reasons why. Now, she’s one of the many who have vanished.

Well, the tail end of a temp job in a distribution center. It’s helped me rack up some more recent work experience (Well, after being out of work for a year.) and of course, rebuilt the war chest funds.
That’s about it. New content will appear here… Eventually.
And, we’re back, though we never really left.
Over the past day, my web hosting provider relocated their data centers from Reno, Nevada, to Tempe, Arizona, conveniently a lot closer to me, and so far, it looks like the transition went smoothly.
More content as needed. Life continues on. Welcome to the future…
Mainly to show Mr. John Kavanagh (one of our Arizona representatives, and head of the State House Appropriations Committee, who brought us SB1045), and others that you have not broken my spirit.
There are several others in line ahead of them I have to deal with. The reason to be, to exist, is more important. I will not go back into a closet for anyone. Not family, not those who also fear (different kinds of fear?) and definitely not the state (if they harbor or are persuaded by the same fear.)
