Working to recover posts from the beginning in summer 2010, as well as more recent posts. Hopefully, I’ll accomplish somewhere in the middle, whenever that happens.
I’m working with some of the most recent mirrors from the Internet Archive Wayback Machine (I’m glad I made the decision to allow archiving) as well as the latest local caching from the WordPress mobile app on my phone. (Not logging out and back in until I’ve got everything restored.)
To Do: Submit another support ticket with my web hosting provider, as backups aren’t happening, and probably have been broken for over a month or more.
It’s coming along, and hopefully, motivating me to write more often, even if it’s just mirroring Facebook or Mastodon. (Currently more active over on those sites.)
I’ll comment and update most of my previous blog entries, so these are considered “remasters”, of a sort. Some links and social media networks I no longer use. I’ll also see if I can recover comments, as well as links.
I’m hoping to keep things simple, so I don’t break things in the short term.
