To ensure our strike system is fair and proportionate, we won’t count strikes on violating content posted over 90 days ago for most violations or over 4 years ago for more severe violations.

Well, then, WHY am I ALWAYS hearing from friends, and friends of their friends, that they’re getting strikes AND getting out in FB Jail, or getting their accounts banned for stuff that they posted WAY OLDER THAN 90 DAYS AGO? (And, YES, including stuff from years ago, whether it’s a year, five years ago, or older.)
Stop lying. Stop the double standard, FB. To me, Facebook is “Facistbook,” and they have “Communist Standards.” People are leaving the platform, most noticeably younger people.

I came off a Strike 2 stint in FB Jail two weeks ago for supposedly violating their “Communist Standards,” (On January 15, 2022) resulting in a 24 hour ban on posting, commenting, or reacting/emoting to other friends’ posts, a 72-hour (three calendar day) ban from participating on FB groups, my posts are being “moved lower in News Feed” until March 15, 2022. Moreover, I was under restrictions from “going live” and “advertising” on FB until around the second half of March 2022. (I don’t place ads for the handful of groups I’ve inherited ownership and/or moderation on, and I have accounts on Twitch and YouTube for going live. Nice fucking try.)
Since then, I’ve been laying low. If I have to ask myself, “Should I post this?”, then it doesn’t get posted. I’ve been going through 12 years of posts to either hide, delete, or censor anything that could tip off Facebook’s out-of-control algorithm.
And soon, it’s coming to Instagram, if it hasn’t already. I’m already posting more often on IG than FB nowadays.
