Having Problems With The Built-In RMX Media Player with Firefox and Windows Vista or 7?
We’ve got your back – Things may have changed with Windows Media Player 11 or 12, but there is a plugin for Firefox that, surprisingly, though a bit dated, still works – You can get it from Microsoft’s Interoperability Bridges and Labs Center web site here.

As an alternative, you can download the WinAmp Player. You can do that here.

If all else fails, you can Download Foobar 2000 here.

You can listen to the station by typing in the following URL – http://rainbowmixradio.com:8028 (Broadband and Dial-up listeners welcome!)

Simply type in or copy/paste in the preferred stream address into your media player of choice.
Windows Media Player: Left-click on the navigation bar (near the top of the application window), and select File > Open URL (Or Ctrl+U), and type or paste in the stream address.
WinAmp: Click on File > Play URL (Or Ctrl+L), and type or paste in the stream address.

iTunes:Click on Advanced > Open Stream, and type or paste in the stream address. It can be tricky to find where to open URLs in iTunes, so refer to the following image (Current as of Oct. 10, 2012 – iTunes 10.7 for Windows)

VideoLAN (VLC Media Player): Click on Media > Open Network Stream (Or Ctrl+N) and type or paste in the stream address.
Media Player Classic: Click on File > Open (Or Ctrl+O) and type or paste in the stream address in the “Open:” text box.

Can’t See/Sign Into Chat?
You may get a message saying that you need Java – Java is safe to download. If you cannot see the Chat Room, and do not see the sign in to chat, download Java here.
