#36 – What’s In A Name? (“Classic” Julie Anne)

(Dear Readers: This is a public repost of an entry I posted to my LiveJournal, back around January 2010. Most of my TG-themed entries over there were set to a filtered group – No one was admitted to it, so posts like this one are being showing in public for the first time. I’ve come quite a long way over the past nine months, and the existence of this web site is a testament to that. I couldn’t have done it without seeing how others have paved the way for me, and of course, encouragement from friends on Flickr – You folks know who you are, and you know what I’m going to say — Everything I am today, I owe to each of you!)

So, roll that beautiful bean footage, I’m going to tell you how I came up with my name — Here we go! I’ll see you after the jump!

#15 – Thinking About Decloaking Some Friends-Only Posts on LiveJournal…

I’ve had a LiveJournal in existence for most of this year. I’ve got quite a few posts, most of which some of the entries here were based on, that were part of a selected group that not everyone had access to. I’m figuring, since this site’s essentially public, it doesn’t make too much sense, if I’m unifying all my online presences, to keep everything hidden there, especially when I’ve got a lot of things here public-viewable.

I’d say I’ve become a bit more courageous and daring these last 4-5 months, or maybe it really isn’t as big of a deal as I think it is. But then, I maintain a Facebook presence, and I have a couple people who may not know the whole store behind me yet.

I’ll think some more on this, and make a decision soon.

#7 – Working My Way Through Building Out This Site…

A new day, a new entry, and a new category. ^_^; (So nice, yet so important, that I’ve made it a Sticky post for a while.)

Today: Struggling with internal and external conflicts, in regards to my online manifestation of myself.
(Bear with me, this is a draft-in-progress, and may be tweaked or edited in the final version. Don’t worry, the link will stay the same, I’m sure.)

This is more or less, as the title states, an exercise in becoming more familiar with my content management solution of choice (Yay, WordPress!), as well as being “comfortable in my clothes,” so to speak, at least in my online presentation of myself. Since actual days where I break out the makeup, wig, clothes and shoes are whenever I can arrange them (Sometimes on very short notice!),  I primarily express and further explore my femme side online, either via Flickr, Facebook, or here.
